Academic Enrichment Program for Homeschoolers
WILD SCHOLARS
Wild Scholars
Academic Enrichment & Nature Program for Homeschoolers
with Caitlynn Sinagra
We’re excited to introduce a new Academic Enrichment Program.
Wild Scholars is a Waldorf-inspired academic enrichment program where academic learning comes to life through nature, meaningful work, creativity, and hands-on experiences.
Led by our beloved Waldorf-certified teacher, Caitlynn Sinagra, each session follows the gentle rhythm of a Waldorf block, allowing children to immerse themselves deeply in one area of study while making meaningful connections across subjects.
Rather than separating academics from everyday life, we believe children learn best when lessons are experienced with their hands, hearts, and minds.
Throughout the year, children will explore:
Language Arts through storytelling, literature, poetry, journaling, and creative writing
Mathematics through practical applications, games, measurement, gardening, cooking, budgeting, and building
Nature Studies including botany, zoology, ecology, weather, astronomy, and seasonal observations
Seasonal Cooking & Baking while exploring nutrition, fractions, chemistry, cultures, and traditions
Handwork & Fiber Arts including knitting, weaving, felting, sewing, and other traditional crafts that strengthen patience, perseverance, and fine motor skills
Artistic Expression through watercolor painting, drawing, nature journaling, music, drama, and handcrafts
Practical Life Skills that build confidence, independence, responsibility, and problem-solving
Our Approach
Each learning block unfolds over several weeks, allowing children to develop a rich understanding of a topic through movement, stories, experiments, artistic work, practical experiences, and thoughtful discussion.
By combining Waldorf-inspired academics with the beauty of farm and forest life, children develop not only strong academic foundations but also curiosity, resilience, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our intentionally small and mixed aged classroom offers a nurturing environment where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to participate fully. With limited enrollment, Miss Caitlynn is able to cultivate meaningful relationships while creating a learning atmosphere that sparks curiosity, inspires engagement, and encourages children to think deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and develop a genuine love of learning..
